Add horoscopes to my cool website? No way! But…

While it may not be to every webmaster’s taste, adding horoscopes to your website can not only increase traffic but also give your visitors a distraction from other pages on your site. The very idea of putting horoscopes on your cool, cutting-edge website may seem like a devastating calamity, but it can be done in most cases in a way that is inkeeping with the website’s style and taste.
The fact is, the vast majority of news websites, entertainment websites and other information websites give their visitors the option of clicking a link to see what’s in their future by publishing horoscopes. There was a time many leading newspapers would not even think about horoscopes, and some may even still resist placing horoscopes in their printed versions.
However, horoscopes have always been popular with readers, so webmasters are increasingly having to consider whether they should allow their visitors to leave just because they have a sudden urge to look at their horoscope, or provide their horoscopes on the website. “An increasing number of webmasters are adding horoscopes to their websites,” said a spokesperson for web hosting company 1and1webhosting.biz.
The most popular horoscopes are love horoscopes, or relationship horoscopes, although they are not necessarily read like daily horoscopes. Obviously, as a webmaster, you can decide how far you want to go with horoscopes. Do you stop at daily horoscopes, or do you only have a general love horoscopes or relationships horoscopes area, or do you take it further with forays into Chinese horoscopes and Indian astrology.
The choice is yours, but with so many people so interested in horoscopes, it would be to a webmaster’s advantage to include horoscopes in the website.
